About QNTXL
One place to see who is hiring in quantitative trading - and where.
Draft:this page still carries placeholders - the contact address, legal entity and governing jurisdiction are TODOvalues in src/lib/site.ts. Fill them in and this notice disappears.
What we do
Quant hiring is scattered. Optiver posts to its own careers site, a Chicago prop shop to a Greenhouse board, a crypto market maker to something bespoke. The roles are public, but finding all of them means visiting dozens of career pages - and the search tools that do aggregate them are full of stale and duplicate listings.
QNTXL collects those roles and organises them two ways: by companyand by city. Every listing links to the employer’s own posting, so the application goes to the company, never through us.
How the data gets here
- Boards, not scraped pages. We identify the applicant tracking system a company actually uses and read its public board, which is both more accurate and more polite than hammering a rendered web page.
- Verified before publication. A company’s board is only published once the system has confirmed it belongs to that company, and a human has reviewed it. Submissions go through the same gate as everything else.
- One company, one entry. Domains are normalised and duplicates are merged, so “Acme Trading”, “Acme Trading Ltd” and “acme-trading.com” do not become three firms.
- Cities, not address strings. Locations are reduced to the city that matters for hiring - “Chicago”, not “Chicago, IL, United States” - so browsing a city gives you jobs, not variants of one job.
- Refreshed on a schedule. Daily at minimum; hourly for companies on our paid Desk plan. Roles that vanish from a board disappear from here.
How we make money
Listing is free, and it is complete: every company’s logo and every open role are here, with no cap and no gate, refreshed at least daily. Job seekers never pay anything, and we do not sell candidate data - we do not hold any.
What we sell is data. Companies can claim their page for free; our paid Desk plan adds demand analytics on their own roles - how many qualified people saw a req and did not apply, what filtered them out, how the salary band compares with the market. Featured placements are sold by the day and are always labelled as such.
Money buys no ordering anywhere. A featured role is highlighted and shown in its own labelled slot, but never sorts above a better match; no plan ranks above another; and we do not invent jobs, hide a company, or accept payment for a place in our blog.
Corrections and removals
Job feeds are messy, and we would rather fix them than argue. If a role is stale, a salary is wrong, a city is misread, or a listing should not be here at all, email us and we will correct it. Companies can ask to be removed at any time.
