Frequently Asked Questions
How the job data gets here, what it costs, and what we do with it.
Draft:this page still carries placeholders - the contact address, legal entity and governing jurisdiction are TODOvalues in src/lib/site.ts. Fill them in and this notice disappears.
What is QNTXL?
QNTXL is a job board for quantitative trading. We collect open roles from proprietary trading firms, market makers, quant hedge funds and crypto trading firms, and organise them against the cities where those firms actually hire - Amsterdam, Chicago, New York, London, Singapore, Sydney and more.
Every listing links straight to the employer’s own job page. We are not a recruiter or an agency, and we never sit between you and the company.
Where do the job listings come from?
Directly from employers’ own career pages. Most firms run an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, or a custom board); we read the board the company publishes and keep it in sync.
We do not accept jobs posted by third-party recruiters, and we do not copy listings from other job boards.
How often are listings updated?
Boards are refreshed on a schedule: at least daily, and hourly for companies on our paid Desk plan. Roles that disappear from a company’s board are removed from QNTXL on the next refresh, so what you see here is current.
Can I apply through QNTXL?
No - and that is deliberate. Applying sends you to the employer’s own application page, so your application goes into their system, not ours. We never ask for your CV, and we never pass your details on to anyone.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile to maintain - browse, filter, and apply on the company’s site.
Is QNTXL free for job seekers?
Always. Companies pay for listings and featured placement; candidates never pay, and we do not sell candidate data.
How do I get my company’s roles listed?
Submit your careers page at /submit-company. We detect the ATS board behind it, verify that it really belongs to your company, and a human reviews the result before anything is published.
If your careers page is unusual - several boards, a login wall, or a bespoke system - say so in the submission and we will look at it by hand.
What does it cost to list roles?
Listing is free, and there is no cap: every company’s logo and every open role on its board are on the site, refreshed at least daily. We do not charge per role and we never hide one.
Companies can claim their page for free - verifying that you speak for the domain gets you a verified badge, control of the logo, an attributed “From the company” block and basic view counts.
What we sell is data, not visibility. Desk (€299/month) tells a hiring team how many qualified people saw a role and did not apply, what stopped them, and how their salary band compares with the market. Separately, featured placements are sold per day with a minimum run, always labelled “Featured” on the site.
Does anything a company pays for affect how jobs are ranked?
No. Nothing a company can buy changes the order of the results, the companies on the homepage, or which roles exist here: there is no job cap and no logo gate on any plan, and no tier ranks above another.
A featured role is highlighted - a badge, a tinted card, a place in the labelled featured slot on the homepage - but it never sorts above a better match, and it never displaces a role.
Something looks wrong - a stale role, a missing company, a wrong city. Can I report it?
Please do. Email the address below with the URL and what looks wrong. Data corrections are the most useful mail we get: job feeds break, cities get misread, and companies rename themselves.
How do you handle my data if I submit a company?
A submission stores the company details, the careers URL, and an optional contact email. Your IP address is never stored - only a salted hash of it, used to rate-limit abuse. The full picture is in our privacy policy.
Do you use AI or scraping on company websites?
Yes, both, and only on publicly available company career pages. Scraping keeps listings current; language models help us structure messy job text (titles, locations, salaries) and verify that a board belongs to the company it claims to. We do not send candidate data to anyone, because we do not hold any.
