Join Algorithmic Trading Group as an intern developer in our Amsterdam office, where you will help build automated trading strategies for those looking to enter the finance industry with programming skills.
Primary tasks include:
- Monitoring and controlling the firm's automated trading strategies.
- Providing detailed feedback about monitored trading sessions and how the strategies function.
- Handling all required preparations for the European trading day.
- Working directly with traders to understand their needs and implement their trading strategies.
- Communicating and liaising with the support team, infrastructure, and market access development team to improve the trading systems.
- Collaborating closely with fellow developers to improve and optimize existing strategies and build new ones.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling of our automated trading strategies
- Provide detailed feedback about the monitored trading session and strategies functioning
- Responsible for all required preparations needed for the European trading day
- Work directly with traders to understand their needs and to implement their trading strategies
- Communicate and liaise with support team, infrastructure, and market access development team to improve the trading systems
- Working in close collaboration fellow developers improving and optimizing our strategies and build new ones
- Building some of the automated trading strategies
Requirements
- Good programming skills (C#/C++/Python)
- Interested in financial markets; trading experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptive mindset, able to switch gears quickly
- Ability to self-organise work
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment that allows for high levels of freedom
- Take ownership of projects and organized tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a global team
