Commodities Macro Analyst

Join DRW's Trading team as a Commodities Macro Analyst supporting one of our Portfolio Managers. You will conduct top-down macroeconomic analysis examining global cycles, central bank policy, interest rates, and inflation drivers, while building and maintaining supply/demand balance sheets and flow-of-funds models for core commodities. Key responsibilities include bottom-up fundamental research, credit analysis of key producers and consumers, development of proprietary analytical tools and dashboards using Python, SQL-based data pipeline management, trade idea generation and stress-testing, and daily portfolio risk monitoring and P&L analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally at a leading Proprietary Trading Firm, Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Trading Venue
- Strong knowledge of financial products and active interest in the Commodities and Macro space
- Exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing data and building tools in Python
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
