Junior Strategy and Operations Analyst, Flow Macro (European Market Hours)
DRWAbout the Role
Join DRW's Real-time Strategy team in Montreal to develop trading strategies that capture and monetize market-moving events during the European trading session. You will work alongside a small team to provide market insight and identify new trading opportunities by analyzing geopolitical and financial events.
- Use available resources and extensive research to distil market sentiment
- Analyze and make sense of seemingly unrelated events to identify trading opportunities
- Develop strategies allowing traders to monetize market events
- Bring fresh ideas to refine existing practices and seek out new opportunities
Requirements
- A passion for the field of geopolitics and finance
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and an ability to adapt to constantly evolving demands
- A creativity and drive to help improve our processes and trading methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Required to support the European Market hours
