Leadership Rotation Network Intern
DRWAbout the Role
As a Leadership Rotation Network (LRN) Analyst Intern, you will work directly within a dedicated middle or back-office team such as Global Trading Operations, Treasury, Product Control, Credit Risk, Project Management, Business Management, or Finance. Over the course of your 10-week internship, you will contribute meaningfully to your team's objectives and gain in-depth knowledge in your specific area of placement.
You will lead projects and participate in daily processes, gaining insight into your team's scope and their role in supporting the trading business. You will analyze situations, develop solutions aligned with strategic goals, and build lasting relationships with cohort members and the broader LRN community while developing a comprehensive understanding of how trading functions work together cohesively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field with graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Python proficiency including experience with pandas, handling CSV/JSON files, API interaction (requests), and writing scripts/classes
- SQL ability to write intermediate queries including JOINs, CTEs, and PIVOT for data transformation
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and macros/VBA
- Insatiable desire to learn with unwavering commitment to integrity
- Curious mindset with excellent organizational and analytical thinking
- Passion for process improvement and strong sense of urgency
- Self-starter attitude capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and capacity for rapid learning
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while fostering strong working relationships across business groups
- Work authorization in the United States without need for sponsorship
- Interest in trading and technology with aspiration to work in middle/back-office role
- Desire to live and work in Chicago, IL (physical presence required, not remote)
