DRW is seeking multiple passionate Software Developers to join their team developing critical software that powers the collection, transformation, and delivery of market data used by trading systems. You will be surrounded by cutting-edge technology and senior technologists in a high-performance environment.
- Build scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices
- Facilitate discussions on code implementation, testing, and software architecture
- Collaborate with operations and trading teams to ensure production systems operate optimally
- Research latest technologies to enhance trading systems
- Drive projects and lead new initiatives
- Work with complex real-time market data while ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Partner with traders to explain technical challenges and potential solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 10 years of experience building software systems
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Strong knowledge and experience in Python or C++. Experience in both is an asset.
- Passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and how they influence market behaviour.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with any of these technologies is an asset: Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, TCP, HTTP, Regex.
- Experience with relational databases is an asset
