Unified Platform - Business Experience - Software Engineer

The UP - Business Experience team is looking for a Software Engineer to join in its mission to empower business users across the firm to leverage DRW technology in pursuit of their goals.
The team pursues its mission through three programs:
- Tools – developing things like Excel Add-ins and Python packages that business people use to build their own solutions.
- Guidance – writing how-to articles and suggesting techniques that guide business people to approved "golden paths".
- Applications – writing small- to medium-sized applications that business people use in their day-to-day work.
In this role you will primarily work on legacy code, and sometimes work on green-field development; lead small projects to completion; work hands on with business users, sometimes collaborating with them to improve their software; and provide production support (one weekend per month on-call).

Requirements
- Strong interest in and desire to learn about the business of proprietary trading
- Ability to gather business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience
What You'll Get
