Eagle SevenAbout the Role
Eagle Seven is seeking an experienced Algorithmic Trader to trade futures contracts listed on Eurex, ICE, and CME. The trader will manage all aspects of trading desk operations alongside the Head of the Desk, requiring a passion for capital markets and collaborative teamwork.
- Operating grey and black box algorithmic trading strategies in accordance with trading desk objectives
- Monitoring trading activity and positions consistently throughout the shift
- Performing research and post-trade analysis to improve profitability of existing models
- Applying expertise in market microstructure and quantitative modeling to develop new sources of alpha
- Collaborating with strategy developers on execution, pricing, and risk management code changes
- Building and maintaining quantitative modeling tools and analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, business/finance, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience trading financial products (e.g options, futures)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and math skills
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and team player focused on contributing to the success of the trading desk
