Trading Operations Engineer at a 200-person proprietary trading firm providing technical operations support for US and UK based desks. This role is part of the Technology division but sits on the trading desk, embedded in the firm's technical operations processes. The task set is split evenly between desk-facing activities and light coding tasks in collaboration with full-time development staff.

First point of contact for traders utilizing the firm's trading systems
Install, configure and monitor critical trading applications
Incident management via ticketing system and documentation
Collaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications

Requirements

Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities
Experience with Python, bash and MySQL on Linux is required
Excellent communication skills
