About the Role

Flow Traders is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Communications team in Amsterdam. This role involves managing external communication activities with a focus on digital channels, developing compelling content, and ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging across all channels. Key responsibilities include managing social media platforms and the company website, developing content strategies spanning social media, thought leadership, and corporate communications, and collaborating with senior leaders across regions to support global communications initiatives.

  • Manage external communications channels including the company website and social media platforms
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies across multiple formats
  • Support external messaging development by working with senior leaders and subject matter experts
  • Drive channel management, optimization, and performance tracking
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all external communications with a strong brand voice
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities across a global stakeholder base

Requirements

  • University degree
  • 3+ years experience in communications, content, social media, or a related role
  • Experience in the financial industry is a strong plus
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Proven experience managing external communications channels, including websites and social media platforms
  • Strong content creations skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling content across a range of formats and audiences
  • Solid understanding of social media strategy, content planning, channel management, and performance measurement
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders and subject matter experts to shape and refine external messaging
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions, regions, and levels of the organization
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail
