About the Role

Join Flow Traders' growing Trading team as a Digital Assets Trader in Amsterdam. You will be part of a highly innovative and successful global team that trades on various cryptocurrency exchanges with a focus on ensuring around-the-clock liquidity within these markets.   • Generate and implement new trading strategies on various cryptocurrency exchanges taking into consideration potential risks
  • Research and back test strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and leverage global team expertise
  • Manage trading positions and ensure essential information is captured accurately
  • Explore the international cryptocurrency market to identify new opportunities and products
  • Work with the global Digital Assets team and share insights related to market developments
  • Focus on technical improvements on the desk while automating daily processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional trading experience at a leading proprietary trading firm, market maker or crypto-native trading desk
  • Proven PnL generation from strategies you personally built, deployed, and managed in live production
  • Experience in Low-latency CeFi trading and/or On-chain (DeFi) trading
  • Strong understanding of execution, liquidity, and market dynamics
  • Practical experience with exchange APIs and latency-sensitive systems
  • Ability to generate and validate trading ideas using data and real-time feedback
  • Comfortable working flexible hours
  • Strong quantitative skills with solid programming and data handling capabilities
