Summer Trading Internship
Flow TradersAbout the Role
Flow Traders is looking for entrepreneurial, competitive and analytical talent to join our Trading department as an Intern. The internship is a full-time, paid programme starting 1 July 2027 and lasting 8 weeks, for students who want to find out whether a career in (Quantitative) Trading is for them.
You will get a 360-degree view of our role in the financial markets, how our Traders seize arbitrage opportunities, and how they work together as a team to optimise and improve their desk. Working closely with Traders and Quantitative Researchers, you will add value by working on real trading projects: solving problems, creating new tools and/or designing new strategies, and testing your project in a trading simulation.
No financial background is needed - we will teach you all you need to know. A trading coordinator supervises your growth and career advancement and provides direction for your learning progress.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Traders and Quantitative Researchers on real trading projects
- Solve problems, create new tools and/or design new strategies
- Test your project in a trading simulation
Requirements
- Graduating in 2028 with a BSc./MSc, Degree, preferably in Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics or related
- Competitive, innovative & creative personality with excellent mental arithmetic skills
- Capability to reason logically and deliver under pressure
- Ability to spot opportunities and the assertiveness to seize them
