About the Role

Your IMC journey as a Graduate Trader begins with a six-week Global Trainee Programme led by seasoned engineers and traders. During this traineeship, you will deepen your knowledge about trading, financial markets, IMC's trading strategies, and proprietary trading systems. Training continues at your local office with support from a dedicated mentor. You'll be placed on a desk matching your strengths and interests in discretionary, systematic, or execution-focused roles.

  • Trade a wide range of financial instruments
  • Develop, maintain, and improve trading strategies and algorithms
  • Manage the execution and risk of complex trading portfolios
  • Collaborate closely with IMC's technology developers and engineers

Requirements

  • In your ultimate year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field, and are seeking to join IMC full-time in February or August 2027
  • First-class analytical skills
  • A genuine interest in financial markets (no prior knowledge or experience is required)
  • Experience in a programming language is a plus (e.g. Python, Matlab or R)
