About the Role

As an IT Operations Engineer at IMC, you will be crucial to supporting our traders, engineers, and other teams in a high-performance trading environment. Your responsibilities include providing first to third line support to users, managing physical and virtual desktop environments, deploying enterprise updates for Windows and macOS, and troubleshooting network issues. You will implement, support, and maintain servers, networks, and user devices while working autonomously to create a top-notch IT environment that scales seamlessly. You'll collaborate closely with a variety of engineers and grow your technical skills while keeping IMC's operations moving at pace.

Requirements

  • A degree (BSc or above) in a technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing support role in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of Windows and ideally also Mac Operating System
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems creatively and proactively
  • Have a desire to learn new skills and evolve as IMC introduces new technologies to the environment
  • Willing to get involved on physical tasks such as desk moves and room setups
  • Confident in written and spoken English communication
