About the Role

IMC is a leading global market maker seeking a Research Analyst to monitor and analyse Indian equities markets. In this role, you will track Indian corporate and macro news, identify material catalysts, and translate market intelligence into tradable actions for our trading strategies. You will provide daily reports and commentary, maintain deep expertise in Indian market structure, companies, economy and politics, and collaborate closely with traders on market-making and position-taking strategies. Additionally, you will assess the impact of corporate actions and events on pricing, and communicate research insights across IMC's global analyst network spanning EU, US, and Asia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Economics/Finance/Business OR STEM from a Top University
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Indian equities
  • Team handling experience is preferred
  • Experience with Excel and Bloomberg is necessary
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills supported by natural curiosity
  • Indian Macro/ Indian X-Asset exposure a plus
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Skills to contribute and communicate in a team environment are essential
  • CFA would be a plus
  • Exposure to Python and Options knowledge including understanding of the Greeks is a plus
