IMC TradingAbout the Role
This summer internship programme at IMC offers you the chance to experience life as a trader during an engaging 12-week immersion. You will begin with classroom-based learning on proprietary trading, then apply your knowledge through meaningful projects and weekly trading challenges. Throughout the programme, you will be supported by dedicated trainers and mentors, hone your skills across different trading desks, and participate in competitive simulated trading sessions.
- Generate and iterate trading strategies
- Work on tooling, functionality, and visibility for specific use cases
- Shadow different trading desks and participate in workshops and social activities
- Build a valuable network with IMC traders, researchers, analysts, and engineers
Requirements
- In your penultimate year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field graduating in 2028
- You thrive working in an environment where creativity, teamwork, and innovation are recognised and rewarded
- You want to make an impact on meaningful and challenging projects
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Genuine interest in financial markets (no prior knowledge or experience is required)
- Must be able to start the internship on June 28, 2027
- To be able to take part in IMC’s internship programme, you will need to obtain the required visa and/or permit to enter, stay and work in the Netherlands
