Compiler Engineer

An experienced software engineer role focused on code generation in the OxCaml compiler, Jane Street's high-performance variant of OCaml. The position encompasses the full development cycle including identifying optimizations, coding, testing, benchmarking, and deployment across various intermediate representations (CPS, SSA, Sea of Nodes). You'll work with multiple technical teams and exceptional individuals across Jane Street globally, contributing to an open-source compiler designed for parallel programming with data race freedom guarantees.
Requirements
- Experienced with debuggers (e.g., lldb, gdb) and low-level Linux tools
- Happy to consider candidates with experience on any compiler toolchain
- Fluency in English is required
- Proven experience managing a team of developers, and would enjoy doing that alongside their normal technical work
- Fluent in English
