Network Engineer

This is a summer internship role where you'll work alongside full-time employees on real-world network engineering projects at Jane Street. You'll learn how the firm maintains and improves critical infrastructure supporting distributed systems, including multi-vendor network infrastructure for trading and connectivity.

• Working on cross-team projects such as site expansions and new colocation builds
• Debugging routing protocols
• Provisioning new market data feeds and connections to third parties
• Automating support tasks and improving network monitoring capabilities

Your internship project may address big-picture strategic questions or involve building new solutions, with mentors guiding you through production issue resolution, root-cause analyses, and implementing robust long-term fixes.
