About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced Sales Trader to make an immediate impact on the client-relations side of our growing institutional trading team. In this dynamic role, you'll serve as a front-facing representative of Jane Street and a valued liaison between our sales and trading teams and institutional clients.

You'll be a primary point of contact for our clients across ETFs, corporate bonds and listed derivatives, facilitating trade execution across the entire life cycle. You'll bring clients thoughtful pre- and post-trade analysis, anticipate what they're trying to achieve, and consistently deliver an excellent and enjoyable client experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales trading, preferably from the sellside covering buyside clients or execution trading on the buyside
  • Demonstrated success in managing and building external relationships, particularly customer relationships
  • Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and implement ideas in a fast-changing environment
  • Motivated, collaborative and experienced teaching others and learning new techniques
  • Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and thorough, with a desire to seek continuous improvements where possible
  • Able to multi-task and coordinate with colleagues as needed
  • Experienced with covering a broad client base; institutional coverage is a plus
