Software Engineer

As a Software Engineering intern, you'll learn how Jane Street uses OCaml (their primary development language) in day-to-day work and gain exposure to foundational libraries and tools. You'll be paired with full-time mentors who collaborate with you on real-world projects, with some teams also using Python depending on the project. The internship spans diverse problem domains, from high-performance trading systems to programming language design. During the 12-week program (mid-May to mid-August in Singapore), you'll receive close mentorship, initial training in the Hong Kong office, and a week-long visit to the New York office to collaborate with interns and full-time employees across global offices.
