Campus Systems Engineer (Full-Time)

The Systems Engineer will work with traders, operations, exchanges, and developers to optimize the trading environment and investigate and solve system issues. This role involves proactively monitoring the health and performance of the trading platform, analyzing and troubleshooting complex system and networking infrastructure issues, and designing network infrastructure for proprietary low latency trading applications across global data centers. You will build automation to improve the production trading environment, coordinate with risk management and trading teams, manage operational risk, and define processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Major in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Experience working with Linux/UNIX OS including advanced commands and shell scripts
- Practical working knowledge of python
- Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, multicast, ethernet
- A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to operations
- Ability to operate and communicate clearly under pressure
- Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment with a positive can do attitude
