Reconciliation Associate, Dividend & Coupon

This role offers an opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented critical thinker to own the end-to-end reconciliation of dividend and coupon income across all global markets and asset classes. You will investigate and resolve breaks identified through daily reconciliations, collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties globally to research root causes, and identify patterns in recurring breaks to improve upstream processes. You will document procedures for consistency and scalability, prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis on break trends, and partner with technology to evaluate and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in reconciliation, corporate actions, income processing, or a related operations function
- Strong working knowledge of corporate actions and dividend lifecycles, with emphasis on global market conventions
- Deep asset class familiarity across equities, equity swaps, and fixed income products (bonds, credit, rates)
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of problems, and drive them to resolution with minimal direction
- Comfort working with large, complex data sets and drawing conclusions from them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across time zones
- A controls-oriented mindset with a focus on reducing operational risk
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Prior experience at a trading firm, hedge fund, or prime broker preferred
