Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Jump Trading Group, you'll work on core technologist teams that build and improve platforms driving the trading team. You'll collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to create new research infrastructure, work with team technologists to improve production system scalability, and serve as a multiplier on team productivity. This role focuses on designing and deploying technologies that support the quantitative trading teams as they probe global markets and develop profitable predictive trading models.
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of experience building platforms and solving business challenges
- Strong understanding of computer systems (e.g. operating systems, networks, performance optimization)
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and maturity in tackling complex problems across cross-functional teams, technology, and processes
- Team player, with good communication, interpersonal skills, and a humble and cooperative attitude
- Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field
- Reliable and predictable availability
