Jump TradingAbout the Role
As a Trader at Jump Crypto, you will join a dynamic group researching, interpreting, and capitalizing on global cryptocurrency trading markets. You will execute trading strategies, monitor positions, and collaborate with clearing and operations teams to reconcile trades. The role includes building and maintaining DevOps toolkits for production trading systems, troubleshooting trading issues, and improving desk processes. You will work 4 days a week (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) trading in this 24/7 asset class, with opportunities to own team-wide projects and support various business lines.
Requirements
- Interest in cryptocurrencies with an understanding of the various currencies, exchanges, etc.
- Comfortable with Python and the ability to write and understand simple to moderate scripts
- Familiarity with a Linux environment
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion in making decisions
- Aptitude and preference for working in a highly collaborative environment
- At least 1 year of trading experience
- Reliable and predictable availability
- Interested in learning how to apply their skills in a quantitative trading environment
- Can-do attitude around supporting the team in a variety of ways
