About the Role

Optiver's Equity Options Trading team is seeking a Graduate Equity Analyst to drive fundamental research-driven trading. As an Equity Analyst, you will sit directly on the trading desk and play a critical role in influencing trading decisions and positions daily, with the ability to put research-driven trading positions in your own book from day one.

  • Be extensively trained via the Optiver academy program for Equity Analysts
  • Identify fundamental-driven trade opportunities and work with traders to capture these opportunities, focusing on maximizing impact on overall desk PnL
  • Think probabilistically and perform scenario analysis for relevant upcoming events, catalysts and analyze time-sensitive headlines to predict their influence on volatility and stock price
  • Assist in the growth of the fundamental research team through creating processes, identifying inefficiencies and building industry networks to monetize fundamental-driven trading ideas
