About the Role

Join Optiver's Infrastructure Engineering team to support end-to-end infrastructure deployments across Asia Pacific data centers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN networks and security platforms using modern Infrastructure as Code methodologies. Your role involves building and managing our international network environment, driving infrastructure capacity and reliability optimizations, automating and monitoring systems, and collaborating with developers and hardware engineers to deliver a stable, scalable platform for our core trading business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of working experience as a senior network engineer or architect with proven on-box experience, designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex LANs and WANs
  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting Campus LAN networks, ideally on Arista and Cisco products
  • Experience in managing network systems using Infrastructure as code (IaC) methodology
  • Experience working in a multi zone, multi tier firewall architecture across APAC
  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting DC environments
  • Experience administrating Unix systems
  • Experience in monitoring and managing diverse international WAN networks
