About the Role

Join Optiver as a Technical Options Trader to build and optimise options trading strategies across APAC. You will collaborate extensively with research, quants, developers, and corporate strategy teams to drive improvements on systematic and semi-systematic trading operations. This role offers the opportunity to strategically contribute to the future direction of the trading team while leveraging Optiver's access to great liquidity and progressive risk appetite.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of driving improvements on a systematic or semi-systematic trading spot - preferably at a top market-making firm
  • Holistic understanding of the options trading problem
  • Strong and responsible risk appetite
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for trading, and a strong desire to continuously improve
  • Experienced Trader with a technical focus
