About the Role

An exclusive event for early-career professionals offering rare access to Optiver's Amsterdam trading floor and a direct route into Institutional Trading. Over one Friday afternoon and evening, participants will join the live market environment to see how quantitative foundations and confidence in high-stakes conversations translate into trading roles on the desk.

Throughout the event, Institutional Traders will demonstrate how the role works through learning exercises, market simulations, fast-paced decision-making games, and relationship/negotiation challenges. Participants will get hands-on experience trading large orders with counterparties, compete in competitive challenges in rotating groups, and network with traders and like-minded peers from finance and consulting backgrounds. Strong performance may lead to a full-time offer as an Institutional Trader in February 2027.
