About the Role

Monitoring and supervising Tower’s automated trading systems during Asian market hours across multiple markets and trading teams.

Analyzing live trading activity for risk and compliance issues and responding promptly to unusual trading behavior or changing market conditions.

Collaborating with risk managers and trading teams to identify intraday trading issues, escalate them to key stakeholders, and coordinate with Tower’s core engineering team, brokers, and exchanges to resolve issues in real time.

Developing and maintaining monitoring procedures and documenting production issues as they occur to ensure accurate operational records.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and supervising Tower's automated trading systems during Asian market hours across multiple markets and trading teams.
  • Analyzing live trading activity for risk and compliance issues and responding promptly to unusual trading behavior or changing market conditions.
  • Collaborating with risk managers and trading teams to identify intraday trading issues, escalate them to key stakeholders, and coordinate with Tower's core engineering team, brokers, and exchanges to resolve issues in real time.
  • Developing and maintaining monitoring procedures and documenting production issues as they occur to ensure accurate operational records.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in computer science, complemented by relevant industry experience, or a postgraduate degree or specialization in finance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indian capital-market regulations, SEBI guidelines, exchange circulars, and exchange procedures; NISM Series XVI, VIII, and VII certifications are preferred.
  • Experience or exposure to a high-frequency trading (HFT) or algorithmic trading environment, with familiarity with risk controls across equities, futures, options, and commodities markets, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, R, or other data-analysis tools; experience with Linux is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate data, process, and operational issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
