About the Role

Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm founded in 1998, whose engineers build electronic trading infrastructure at a world-class level. As a Software Developer Intern, you will work on challenging problems in low-latency programming, data systems, and algo trading on a globally scaled platform.

  • Optimize systems using network and systems programming and other advanced techniques to minimize latency
  • Design, build, and leverage systems to collect, analyze, and visualize large amounts of data
  • Build data pipelines to capture reference and market data and develop systems that provide fast, easy access to it
  • Build trading systems for algorithmic trading
  • Enhance the efficiency of trading operations by developing AI-assisted automation solutions and products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student
  • Majoring in computer science or related fields
  • Deep knowledge of programming concepts and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of development languages (including C++, Golang, Java, Python, or Rust)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
  • Interest in financial markets
  • This position requires proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written. English proficiency is required as the position involves regular interactions with international anglophone team members
