This January 2027 programme offers students an exciting inside view into the world of global trading and the impact Virtu has on the global financial markets. As a Wintern, you will learn about how the firm trades, its technology and trading tools, and work on your own trading project under mentorship from industry experts.
- One week programme (4–8 January 2027) hosted in Dublin office
- Daily combination of lectures, trading games, and programming challenges
- Engaging social events to connect with the team and culture
- Final group contest
Requirements
- Exceptional female talent at second and third year level
- Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome) with preference for Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics
- Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- A highly motivated team player: Genuine, well rounded, curious, collaborative person who can work towards collective goals
- Interest in a career in financial services
- Graduating year of 2028 or 2029
