About the Role

As a key part of the IT Operations team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-performance, low-latency infrastructure for financial trading systems. This role focuses on ensuring the resilience and security of systems located at global exchanges, running on enterprise bare-metal hardware, FPGA-accelerated components, and low-latency network architectures. You'll work directly on infrastructure where nanosecond-level latency decisions have real financial consequences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting, tuning, and optimizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems for low-latency, high-performance execution
  • Maintaining highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP
  • Designing and implementing security controls and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical financial infrastructure
  • Leading maintenance windows and operational upgrades with internal teams and external partners
  • Improving configuration management, observability, and operational tooling using Ansible, Zabbix, and Python

Requirements

  • Proactive & Curious: spots operational issues before they escalate and actively hunts for improvements
  • Deep networking: designs at core and WAN level, not just configures; owns BGP, OSPF and firewall policy; debugs from packet captures
  • Able to justify design choices, not just apply them
  • Analytical Thinker: detail-oriented with strong reasoning skills, able to think several steps ahead
  • Agile Problem Solver: responds quickly and confidently to incidents, stays composed under pressure and makes sound decisions fast
  • Experienced Professional: substantial experience (typically 5+ years) delivering precision and stability within complex, mission-critical infrastructure environments
  • Hands-on experience across colocation and on-prem switching and connectivity

What You'll Get

  • Flat structure, fast decisions - access, ownership, and autonomy
  • People-first culture - real humans, low ego, high standards
