As a Software Engineering intern at Jane Street, you will be paired with full-time mentors to collaborate on real-world projects that the firm actually needs completed. You'll gain hands-on experience with OCaml (the firm's primary development language) and internal libraries and tools, with potential exposure to Python depending on your project assignment. Working on diverse projects ranging from high-performance trading systems to programming language design, you'll learn how to build maintainable, high-quality software intended for production while receiving close mentorship from experienced software engineers.
