Campus Systems Engineer (Full-Time)

The Systems Engineer will work with traders, operations, exchanges, and developers to optimize the trading environment and investigate and solve system issues. Key responsibilities include proactively monitoring the health and performance of the trading platform, analyzing and troubleshooting complex system and networking infrastructure issues, designing and implementing optimized network infrastructure for low latency trading applications across global data centers, and building automation to improve the production trading environment. You will work closely with risk management and trading teams to coordinate changes, manage incidents, and assess operational risk in the production environment.
Requirements
- Major in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Experience working with Linux/UNIX OS including advanced commands and shell scripts
- Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, multicast, ethernet
- A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to operations
- Ability to operate and communicate clearly under pressure
- Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment with a positive can do attitude
