About DRW
DRW is a diversified proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, deploying sophisticated quantitative strategies and technology across traditional and cutting-edge markets. Founded in 1992 by Don Wilson, DRW provides liquidity across a broad range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, commodities, FX, and cryptocurrency. The firm operates Cumberland, one of the earliest and most established crypto trading desks, active since 2014. DRW also manages DRW Venture Capital for fintech investments, an NX network infrastructure division, and Convexity, a real estate investment arm. With over 30 years of market-making experience, DRW employs quantitative traders, software engineers, and researchers who leverage low-latency technology and data-driven models to improve market efficiency, transparency, and fairness across global exchanges.
