About the Role

As a Sales and Trading intern at Jane Street, you'll work alongside experienced Sales people and Sales-Traders, learning how the firm engages institutional clients on their trading needs across different asset classes. You'll gain insight into daily client inquiries and how the firm services clients, issuers, and prospective clients.

This is a fast-paced, immersive internship where you'll collaborate with full-time mentors on real-world projects and attend internal classes covering fundamental finance and trading topics. The program provides a genuine sense of what it's like to work at Jane Street full time while delivering an unparalleled educational experience.

Requirements

  • Planning to graduate in 2028
  • Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Curious about financial markets and eager to learn in a rapidly changing environment
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and effective under pressure
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and learn from mistakes
  • A proactive, self-motivated problem-solver excited about building relationships with clients and partners
  • Highly analytical and logical, comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail, even when managing competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Japanese, Korean, Malay or Thai being a plus
