Software Engineer, C++

Join Tower Research Capital's Core Engineering Markets team, responsible for providing trading strategies access to a wide range of financial markets globally. In this role, you will design and implement a high-frequency trading platform that collects quotes and trades from exchanges around the world, while optimizing performance through network and systems programming. You'll develop systems for historical market data access and trading simulations, create data analysis tools, and build risk-management and performance-tracking systems that power Tower's global trading operations.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field
- At least 5+ years of experience with C++ development, preferably in a trading environment
- A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++
- Brilliant problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English for business purposes
- Good understanding of Linux operating system and Networking (TCP/IP and UDP) is a plus
- Knowledge of Python and shell scripts is a plus
